National Statistical Institutes of the European Statistical System:
Mission
In the European Statistical System, there is a commitment between Eurostat and National Statistical Institutes to collaborate in the preparation of delegated acts. This means that, apart from discussions with experts at technical level, all delegated acts should be also prepared in close cooperation with Directors General of National Statistical Institutes and discussed with experts at strategic level. The Commission informs the European Parliament and the Council each time a draft delegated act is discussed with Member States' experts.
Task
