Public-private partnerships in the area of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing
The Communication (in the form of a notice) intends to provide guidance on how existing rules apply in the context of public-private partnerships set up to prevent and fight money laundering and terrorist financing. It will provide greater clarity on what type of feedback should be provided to obliged entities by Financial Intelligence Units. It will also clarify how rules apply to other types of information exchanges that aim at preventing and fighting money laundering and terrorist financing.
